Ber,t i know wherever you are you are the brightest star there ...ur smile lit up everyones life who ever met you, ur laugh was the best sound....and ur heart was the kindest ever put on earth.
I am so sorry i didn't get to be in ur life in the last few years and i will always regret that...but i have that last night in the empire when you ,harv and I had a ball to hold onto. I will never forget when Cheryl and Karen told me ....that moment will weigh in my heart forever .
I still expect to see you at a gig or in empire and will always hold that hope. I have some great memories of you Bert and am grateful that they are in my heart forever.
If i can be 10 % of the person you were i will have been a good person. Wherever you are buddy keep smiling, keep looking after the family , they are the most special family , and friends i know.
I promise i will do anything i can for them and will make sure Cheryl,John and Karen are always ok..

dear Bert i am so sad to find out the news that you passed away i hope you are at peace now i remember all the great times we had when we were younger when you were living with your parents in cregagh and i was living with mine on the ravenhill road sitting in my bedroom listing to iron maiden and having a laugh il never forget the time when you helped me paint my mums house what a mess we made who cares we were young and free with are long hair, you were a massive friend to me and il never forget that.. im sorry that we didnt keep in touch but that was before mobile phones were about..i know that il see you again some day then we can catch up.... to my dear friend who il never forget.. take care.
